The story behind God Made Me
I was rocking my two-year-old granddaugh-ters before naptime, and singing "God is so good " to them, and it got me wondering if their young minds could grasp who God is.We had just come in from a walk where we had stopped to marvel at all the beautiful things God had made, so I started singing about those things in rhyming verses. To help them learn the words, I added hand motions to each verse, and we had fun practicing the song almost daily. Then, knowing their interest in books, I painted a watercolor for each verse and made them into a book they could pretend to read. You can make this same book available to your child or grandchild with his or her own picture on the cover and on each "God made me" page.
